The work was commissioned by Leibniz University Hannover for the Leibniz Year 2016 and was premiered in July 2016 in the large auditorium of Leibniz University Hannover. It was sung by the University Choir, accompanied by the University Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sönke Grohmann.
